An Area-Majority Game Where You Control the Behavior of Particles
This is a pre-order item. Orders that include this item will be shipped around mid-July or later, as soon as they are ready. |
Quantum Control is an area-control game themed around elementary particles. In the first phase, players take turns placing their particles across seven areas; in the second phase, they make their particles jump to capture their opponents’ particles.
Particles gain the power to jump from surrounding particles of the same type. Thus, they jump a distance equal to the number of adjacent friendly particles to capture an opponent’s particle. The player who ultimately secures a majority in more areas than their opponent wins.
This game is a collaboration between Néstor Romeral Andrés and Kana Kato, based on Néstor’s Quantum Leap (2012). You can also play the original Quantum Leap on the reverse side of the board.
Since the pieces are the same size (15 mm) as Generic Game Discs, you can also purchase a set without pieces.
