A New Generation's Traversal Game
LAG is a game that reimagines the traversal games, such as Halma (1884) and Chinese Checkers (1893), with a fresh twist.
Pieces move toward opposite sides of the board, but the distance they can move is determined by the number of your groups ("objects") on the board. When the active player can no longer move, the player with fewer objects wins; this includes situations where all of your pieces have already crossed the board.
Just like a computer lag (processing delay), the pieces often behave in unexpected ways—control them skillfully to bring you victory.
